A very simple but effective interactive resource that will help to build children's historical vocabulary as they learn over 100 historical terms and their meanings. You can either reveal the word itself first and have the children describe the definition, or reveal the definition first and them guess which word is there.

You could also play bingo with it and see who knows the most vocabulary the quickest. Or you could split the class into two teams and have them try to work out the answers. Whichever team wins retains control and gets points for answering correctly. They could then decide whether to 'play' or 'pass' onto the other team. If the other team answers correctly, they then take control.
